Before LG can unveil its next smartphone at an event next month, the internet has spoiled the Korean company’s surprise. The Verge has obtained an image of the G6, giving us our first good look at (half) of the handset, which LG confirmed will feature a display with minimal bezel.

According to The Verge, the device will feature a screen-to-bezel ratio that’s greater than 90 percent, only bested by the recent Xiaomi Mi Mix. This year will be all about minimizing bezel—the area around the screen—and LG wants to be among the first major manufacturers to release a device displaying this breakthrough.

“LG looks set to prioritize design this year, with our source indicating that the G6 will be made entirely out of glass and metal,” according to The Verge.

While the image doesn’t reveal the entire device, The Verge claims it does have a headphone jack; it’ll also supposedly retain the dual-camera system and center-mounted fingerprint sensor of previous LG handsets.

No more modularity

Because LG is opting for a glass and metal design, the company is saying goodbye to modularity, something it tried taking mainstream with last year’s G5.

LG has scheduled an event for Feb. 26, just over a month from now.
